These photos were taken at a candlelit Wedding at Rowton Castle in December.
The piano was placed in the far right-hand corner for the Ceremony, moved to the
Drawing Room for the pre-Reception drinks, and then into the Dining Room for the
Wedding Breakfast.
Rowton is a venue which would lend itself to the use of my Roland slim-line digital
grand piano: access is good, the venue staff are very helpful, the same room is
used for both the Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast and there is time to set up
from 11am in the morning. A different type of piano would be set up in the drawing
room for the pre-Reception: this allows for a seamless transition of music as the
day progresses. The Roland could then also be used for the evening either with a
singer or Band.
